  2. WowWWWW, Lynn! What a beautiful transformation! My eyes caught your florescent ceiling light right away because we currently have one very similar to it that we're going to replace next month with can lighting like yours. What a difference they make! I can hardly wait! Have fun cooking in your new, fabulous kitchen!!! :)

  5. What a transformation! You've really opened up your floor plan. I love the beadboard ceilings and would like to try it in our 2 bedrooms that still have cracked plaster ceilings. (I'm tired of taping and plastering overhead.)

Quite a deal on the convection oven!

  15. OMG a baking area, does that mean you have 2 ovens? Where do you eat now, you must have a dining room? I love the ceiling and I believe that this was a ton of work! I just know you saved a ton by doing it yourself, and getting a good price on the oven!!! Great job!

  16. hi carol,

we installed the large jenn air convection oven and the jenn air microwave is also a convection oven. it bakes chocolate chip cookie fast:)

as you are facing the oven--straight ahead is the dining room.

my poor husbands neck has a kink in it for days after he put the ceiling up--if anyone does a ceiling like this--do yourself a favor and paint the boards first!

saving $1000 on that oven was amazing!
