pink ruffles and a break…

hi everyone:)  I walked into home goods yesterday and walked out with this cute pillow.  and it’s the softest thing!

and in the corner, is my husband’s latest table.  I was given a broken bench—(no legs on it), --he attached legs from an old stool and I added a ruffled skirt.  (btw, this ruffle and the ruffle on my tv cabinet were cut from an old dust ruffle!)

it goes so well under his barn door chandy.

I also hung some curtains (simply shabby chic from target), with 3 rows of ruffles.

and I’m taking a bit of time off from blogging.  my doctor says my eye may have a detached retina, --from all things…a sneeze!  I have an appointment with a specialist, and hopefully, he’ll fix whatever it is:)

thanks for looking and I’ll catch up (when I can see again!) no parties for me this week, but, here are some you might like:)

common ground, faded charm, the dedicated house, totally transformed tuesday,-the farmhouse porch, feathered nest, funky junk, ivy and elephants, rustic restorations, vintage farmhouse, shabbilicious friday, french party, junkin joe's, cozy little house

  8. Pretty pillow and gorgeous repurposed bench/table. What an awesome man you have. One sentence you will never here from me: "It goes so well under his barn door chandy." It would be a dream though. I love him to bits for plenty of reasons, but decor (esp. shabby) isn't one of them. ;) I hope you feel better, Lynn! Sounds painful.
