rainy day project…

this is my first outdoor decoration this year-an umbrella filled with silk flowers, hanging on my front gate.  the umbrella is edged with white ruffles, so when I found it at target last year, I had to have it.

not my original idea, though, check out my inspiration pin, isn’t it sweet?

I love your pink boots and your umbrella to match. I wish I could hang one on my door, but I'm afraid that the Amazing Jumping Dog Bruce would get it. :)

    1. hi nancy,
the umbrella is meant for rain, and the flowers are silk, and the gate is actually on my front porch, so the weather won't be much of a problem:) (it's snowed on the umbrella already! i'm so ready for nice weather!)

  21. Oh no, I have raspberry boot envy. I have a pair of a different kind, but I think yours are cooler. I'll ask my daughter and I guarantee she'll pick yours. So cute! And I always love that fencing that is behind your umbrella flowers! Love that look. What a great backdrop!
