where bloggers create 2013…

I’m joining today–(a little late, sorry), where bloggers create 2013
in february, I downsized my crafting supplies.  i moved a couple of french cabinets (to hold the supplies I wanted to keep), into my great room, temporarily, (until some remodeling could be done).

we just repurposed our tiny 9 x9 dining room into my craft room.  it’s right off the great room and looks out on the garden.  (we removed old french doors that were on the wall behind the armoire.)

we removed an old window and added the patio door on this wall-(this room still needs trim.)

this cabinet holds stamps, ink, paints, papers and books.

my cubbie holds tons of bits and pieces.

my husband built the desk years ago and it fits perfectly.

he also installed some old sconces and I found shades at a junk store which matched the simply shabby chic duvet (I recycled into curtains), and the chair pillow.

I tried them on the chandelier, but, decided to just use them on the sconces.

and I had to share my constant shadow, bailey, who just turned 2 this week:)

  14. This is my first year joining the party and I am having a great time seeing beautiful creative spaces. Yours is just lovely. I love your cubbies and armoires. Mine is nothing like yours, but after taking all the photos yesterday I wondered how long it would stay organized. I went out today and made 4 pieces of art and promptly put EVERYTHING back. I think I have found my spot for creativity.
